Cala Marie Photography strives to provide the best and personalized session possible and to make your portrait experience the unique one that you will remember. We want to capture your graduation photos in a way that reflects your personality, style, and uniqueness. Our goal is to make your photo session fun and as smooth and stress free as possible.
Prior to the photo shoot, we will meet and discuss every details pertaining to your session such as locations and wardrobe. We believe that choosing the right outfits to wear is very important and therefore, we will help you choose the outfits that match the according location. We encourage our clients to dress it up. Dresses and skirts are very flattering and perfect for a portrait session. A beautiful gown, full-length, flown dresses, tulle skirt, and flower crown photograph beautifully. We will also provide you with the “Portrait Session Style Guide” to help you feel more than ready and prepared for your session.
Let the fun begin! An optional professional hair & makeup is available for high school senior girls. Professional hair and makeup is on the top of most of our clients’ checklists because it looks amazing on camera and removes the stress of getting ready on your own.
Once you are camera ready, we will begin our senior photo shoot either in our studio in Woodbury, MN and/or on-location in the Twin Cities area. We offer up to 3 hour sessions for our senior clients to ensure we have plenty of time for wardrobe changes so that you can have variety of looks to choose from. We only accept one senior client per evening because we want you to feel special and have the best senior portrait experience with us. We will focus our time, talent and attention on just you. There are many beautiful places in the surrounding area such as urban, parks, and beautiful fields just to name a few.
All of our images are personalized and hand edited to perfection where other photographers may only do minor touch-up. The quality of our work is very important to us and therefore we make sure that our clients receive the best personalized art possible.
Once the photos are finished which typically takes less than three weeks, we will meet again for the reveal session to look at your gorgeous images. At this consultation, you can see products, ask questions and place your order.
